Turn your workshop into an eventful experience!

Have you registered for a Tinsel Trading Workshop yet?!

Whether you've signed up for this season's extraordinary selection of workshops or not, here are a couple of suggestions to turn your workshop experience into a memorable event!

Invite a friend!
Are you coming to the workshop alone?  Well how about inviting a friend to share the experience with you?  The more people we have at a workshop, the more enjoyable it can be.  Have breakfast with a pal at a chic cafe, shop in Macy's at Herald Square and then hop on over to TTC for your exciting workshop.

"Show and Tell"
TTC provides a light lunch for all students attending 4-6 hour classes.  During this quick lunch break students are invited for an optional  "show and tell"; so you are welcome to bring a piece of your own art to share with your classmates.  Whether it be for networking, inspiration or critique, we would love to see what you create!

Traveling by car
If you want to park in a garage, go to garages near either the East River or the Hudson River.  They are much less expensive than in Times Square Garages and go for about $19 per 24 hour period.  On West 43rd Street between 10th and 11th Ave there are also several lots and some are indoors. Rates for 24 hours is about $16.  The 10th Ave- 11th Ave garage is a park and lock garage so you keep your keys.

Make it all day and all night!
Plan a day in the city so that you make the most of your visit (and get your money's worth of parking fees).  Some (perhaps seasonal) "must-stop shops" of fellow TTC customers are:
Hell's Kitchen Flea Market, The Antiques Garage and The Annex - http://www.hellskitchenfleamarket.com/home/
Chelsea Antique and Collectible Flea Market - http://www.herebeoldthings.com/2007/10/the-chelsea-ant.html
67th Street Flea & Farmer's Market - http://www.east67thstreetmarket.org/

And don't forget the endless selection of New York City evening entertainment after your workshop!  Stop for dinner at a restaurant and then head to a Broadway Play or Musical.  TKTS offers tickets to Broadway Performances for up to 50% off.  The closest ticket booth to Tinsel Trading Company is a quick walk away on Broadway and 47th; underneath the "red steps".  The line may be long but it always goes by fast.

Thanks for registering for a workshop at Tinsel Trading Company and we can't wait to see you there!
